4 DLSWCC U16s in HK Squad for ACC Eastern Qualifiers.
The Hong Kong Under 16 squad to compete at the ACC Eastern Region U16 Tournament to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from the 9th-18th December 2017 has been named and it has four players from Diasqua Little Sai Wan Cricket Club.
Aryan Sharad Shetty, Dhananjay Rao, Hassan Mohammad and Munir Khan have been named in the squad and are expected to make an impact in the Hong Kong U16 team. They have been making a major impact in their Junior League sides for DLSWCC this season
Munir Khan
In the U17 League this season, he is currently the top ranked player (MVP Score), averaging 71.33, with scores of three half centuries and six wickets in four matches.
Aryan Shetty
His U17 Record this season makes him the 3rd best player (MVP Score) in the league, averaging 65.00 with the bat, including scores of one 50 and six wickets in three matches.
Hassan Mohammad
His U17 Record this season has him ranked as the fourth best bowler of the league with six wickets in four matches. While his U15 Record this season has him as the top ranked player (MVP Score) with seven wickets in two matches, including a half century
Dhananjay Rao
He has been a regular Saturday League Player this season and is ranked the 2nd best bowler, with Nine wickets in Four matches.
The team flys tomorrow to Bangkok and will play in the tournament whose format is 35 overs innings and will involve 8 countries; Bhutan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Nepal.
Teams will be split into two pools with the top two from each pool to progress to semi-finals and finals. Hong Kong will face off against Thailand, Nepal, and Myanmar.
