The Aim for DLSW Sarjan was to regain its place as one of the most competitive teams in the 2018-2019 season following a disappointing 2017-2018 season.  Hiten Patel was named captain of the side with Ibraheem Ishaq taking on a the Vice-Captain responsibility.

The Team started well with three wins against CCC, KCC Crusaders and KCC Saracens. A washout followed against USRC and then a close win against Lamma CC took DLSW Sarjan to top of the table. Then came a close lose to Pakistan Association by 7 runs. And then a 50 runs loss to KCC Tartars ended the first round of the season.

The 2nd round began against the two teams which DLSW Sarjan lost against, PACC and KCC Tartars. The result was similar with 11 run loss to PACC and 111 run loss to KCC Tartars.

DLSW Spartans - A season that could have been so much more.

DLSW Spartans fed majority of the youngsters into the team this season as it proved fruitful keeping the future in mind but couldn’t quite finish the season at the desired position in the league table.  Considering the amount of talent this team possessed the management and team alike were hopeful that the team will win the league this year.  The first two games were a major dent into Spartan’s chances of winning the league.  Having scored 137 and 124 all out in the first two games Spartans finally turned up in the 3 game scoring 241 batting first in the process winning their first game.  The next game was a juggernaut of a batting performance that hit pioneers real hard Spartans blazing 493/4 in 35 overs.  Shrutej Shah 162,  Mehran Zeb 143 and Shail Vijaykumar 110 were the tormentors.  The season withered off again with up and down performances but Spartans once again came back in the last half of the league to finish with three wins out of the last Four matches.  Mehran Zeb the batting kingpin for the side with two hundreds and two fifties to his name,  even more impressive the fact that here we have a 17 year old bossing the big boys league with 33 sixes in 8 matches and finishing the season with an overall strike rate of 167.83. Other notable contributors were Shrutej Shah, Shail Vijaykumar with bat in hand and Dhananjey Rao, Arslan Mohammad with the ball.
