DLSW JKN vs HKCC Scorpions

The HKCC Scorpions won the toss and chose to bat first at the Hong Kong Cricket Club on Sunday afternoon.  Opener Anshuman Rath continued his good form, making 31 from 33 before he was removed by Ehsan Khan.  Charlie Bright also batted well for his 42 from 49, number 3 David Varley eventually finished not out on 34 as the lower and middle order offered no resistance.  The Scorpions were dismissed for 161 in 43 overs with spin twins Ehsan Khan (5 for 33 from 10 overs) and Ghazanfar Mohammad (3 for 20 from 8 overs) doing the damage.  It wouldn’t be an easy chase for JKN with HK opening bowlers Tanveer Ahmed and Ehsan Nawaz both in the Scorpions line up, and so it proved.  JKN were reduced to 21 for 3 before a superb partnership between Ehsan Khan and Shahid Wasif all but put the game beyond doubt, Khan finished with 69 from 103 balls and Wasif 48 from 65 balls as JKN eventually passed the total, 7 wickets down.

DLSW DTC Mobiles vs Pakistan Association

The Last game of the season for DTC Mobiles was against Pakistan Association at Mission Road on 29th April 2019. DTC Mobiles won the toss and elected to bowl, DTC Did well to restrict PACC to 224 all out inspite of fifties from Tanveer Afzal (65) and Yasim Murtasa (88). This was largely due to efforts from Moshin Khan who took 5 wickets for 37 runs. However the batting was a struggle and the DTC Team was all out for 180 runs.

The DTC Team performed well and won a game in Division 1, and was a great experience in Division 1 for them. The 2018-2019 season sees them return to Division 1 and they shall be hopping to have many more wins under their belt in the coming season.
