Team DTC Mobile Show Grit in the Division 1 Showing

DTC Mobile being promoted to Division 1 this year have shown sighs of fight and grit in the Sunday Elite Division 1 matches, even in defeats. Next season most likely will take them back to Division 2 where there are a stronger force.

The team especially in the bowling performance have shown themselves to belong in the league but do need to work more in their batting just like their elder sibling JKN side.

Below are round up of their last three games before they go into their final game of the season

Vs DLSW JKN

On 14th Jan, the DLSW DTC Mobiles played DLSW JKN in the second Darby game of the season. The DTC Mobiles side were all out for 83 runs and the JKN Side chased it in 14 overs with 5 wickets to spare.

Vs Pakistan Assocation

In their division one match DLSW DTC Mobile continued their season and lost to Pakistan Association Cricket Club by 6 wickets. DLSW batted first and were dismissed for 63 with Ibraheem Mohammad (43 from 33 balls) the only one to reach double figures. Karandeep Singh (5 for 32) and Manjinder Singh (4 for 25) did the damage for PACC. In reply PACC were able to knock off the total in 13.5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets with Anas Khan (22 from 14) top scoring.

Vs HKCC Scorpions

The DTC Mobiles team won the toss and decided to bowl first, HK National Player Anshuman Rath was looking for an opertunity to make a big score in the Sunday Elite League this season and the DTC side came in his radar. Anshuman scored 124 runs in 117 balls with 13 fours and 7 sixes, and taking his side to 290 for 4 in 50 overs. The DTC Mobiles side batted for 33 overs and lot of batsman looked to play longer innings including Asif Hussain (29 runs of 51 balls) but the team were all out for 127 runs. On a positive note youngsters Danish Zaffar and Shahwaiz Khan played their first matches on Sunday.

DTC will look to play their last game of the season against Pakistan Association on April 22nd 2018 and be fired to try to cause and upset.
