DTC Mobiles Team wins 1st game in the Big Boys Leagues

After the loss to DLSW JKN in their first game the DLSW DTC Mobiles played HKCC Scorpions at HKCC on 1st October 2017 and lost to them by 83 runs. Chasing 281 the DTC Team was 158 all out with Nadeem taking 5 wickets for 39 runs for DTC. The next day on 2nd October the team was at Kowloon Cricket Club playing against KCC Templars. Batting first The DTC managed 122 runs thanks to Aftab Ahmeds 66 runs. The DTC lost the game by 6 wickets.

A rematch with KCC Templars was played on 12th November, KCC Templars were batting first on 125/1 when rain came and the match was called off

The next weekend on 17th November, The DTC were back at HKCC playing HKCC Wanderers. DTC chose to bat first and scored 116 all out, with Ehsan Ayaz scoring 58 runs. HKCC Wanderers won in the 26th over with 5 wickets down.

Then came the HKCC Wanderers rematch, having played at HKCC a few times the DTC Side won the toss and decided to bowl first on 17th December 2017. HKCC Wanderers were in serious trouble being 58 all out. Opening bowler for DTC Moshin Khan took 6 for 25 in 10 overs and Nadeem Ahmed finished off the other 4 wickets for 16 runs. DTC lost 3 early wickets in the chase but Moner Ahmed Dar ensured they got their first win in Division 1 by being not out on 33 runs.

DTC Mobiles has finished 2017 on a high, here’s hoping the new year will gain them more wins and points in the league
