HK’s Sixes Duo, Babar Hayat and Eshan Khan, lead DLSW JKN to victory over PACC


DLSW JKN

Fresh from the HK team success at the HK Cricket Sixes, the LSW due were instrumental in getting a win for JKN against PACC on Sunday Nov 5th 2017 at Mission Road. This win was sweet revenge to the close lose to the same side earlier in the season.

Babar Hayat, was the Captain of the HK team during the sixes and led team Hong Kong to the Plate Championship was instrumental in the chase of 229 runs and scored 87 not out to lead the team to a 7 wicket win. Eshan Khan was not out on 72 runs as they put on a 137 run match winning partnership to win the game.

Earlier Eshan Khan one of the highest wicket takers of the World Sixes Tournament took 4 wickets for 13 runs in his 10 overs to restrict Pakistan Association to 228 all out in 47 overs. Amandeep Singh, Haroon Arshad and Janhzeb Khan took 2 wicket each.

The Win puts DLSW JKN back in a position to become a contender to defend the league title.

DLSW Wasps

On the same day the Wasps opened their Women’s league season with a loss to Kowloon Cricket Club Maidens. Batting first the team scored 114/9 in their 35 overs. Jaswinder Kaur top scored with 30 runs. The KCC Maidens chased the score in the 16th over thanks to a 51 not out from opener Kennu Gill. KCC Maidens won by 9 wickets
