November Junior Cricket Round up!

U17 League

On 12th November at Mission Road, DLSW U17 Littles faced the Kowloon Cricket Club U17s. The Littles won the toss and decided to bat first, Pratik Vasandani top scored with 54 runs in the Littles total of 159 runs all out. The Kowloon Cricket Club team chased the socre in the 24th over with their score on 162/4. KCC won by 6 wickets.

On 19th November the DLSW Cheetahs took on HKCC Wanderers at Mission Road. The toass was won by the Cheetahs and they decided to bat first. Lead by a fine half century by Vishesh the Chetahs scored 155/9 in their 35 overs. The Wanderers only managed 108 runs and the Cheetahs won by 47 runs

On 20th November DLSW Lions played HKCC Nomads. The Nomads won the toss and decided to bat and posted 161/9 in their 35 overs. In Reply the Lions were all out for 133 runs. Losing by 28 runs.

On 26th November, the match between DLSW Lions and PACC was adbandoned at St Stephen’s Colleage due to Rain.

U15 League

Next Weekend the U15 League starts and the first game is between DLSW Littles vs USRC Elite at Mission Road at 8am on 3rd December 2016

U13 League

On 13th November 2016 two U13 Premier League games took place at KGV. In the first game DLSW Lions took on HKCC Wanderers.

The Lions won the toss and decided to bat first and their bowlers showed that the Lions caption had good reason to have faith in their bowlers, the Wanderers were all out for 64 runs. Rohaan Ali and Ali Hassan took two wickets each. The Lions batsman chased the runs in 15 overs with 7 wickets to spare.

The second game was played between USRC Elite and DLSW Littles. The USRC team batted first and posted 162/7, the Littles mustered only 78 runs in the end and were defeated by 84 runs

On 20th November 2016, the U13 Lions played another game against Pakistan Association. The Lions batted first and scores 148 runs and then restricted the Pakistan Association side to 121 runs and won by 27 runs.

On 27th November 2016 the game between DLSW Littles and DB Smashers was washed out at PKVR Reservoir. However the DLSW U13 Cheetahs and DLSW Tigers game did go through at KGV Ground. The Cheetahs won the toss and decided to bat first, Daksh K Mangukiya top scored with 51 runs and stayed not out till the end of the 30 overs. Moksh Shah and Neil Patwa supported with 31 runs and 26 not out to bring the Cheetahs score to 173/4 in 30 overs. The Tigers were restricted to only 36 runs. Jash Dani picked up 3 wickets while Man of the Match Daksh picked up 2.

Next weekend the DLSW Tigers play back to back games, on 3rd December they face HKCC Optimists at PKVR Reservoir, while on 4th December they face KCC Crusaders at KGV

U11 League

On 12th November 2016, three U11 Matches were played at Po Kwong Village Road Reservoir Ground. The DLSW Lions beat the HKCC Rhinos by 48 runs, the DLSW Kangaroos beat the HKCC Warriors by 64 runs while the DLSW Tigers lost to LMC by 124 runs.

On 19th November 2016, two DLSW U11 games were played. The DLSW Cheetahs had a close 9 run win against United Jaguars while DLSW Littles lost a close game to HKCC Hawks by 14 runs.

On 27th November 2016, due to the unseasonal rains the three games: DLSW Littles vs HKCC Warriors, DLSW Kangaroos vs HKCC Rebels and DLSW Lions vs HKCC Geckos were all washed out.

Next Weekend only one U11 league game for DLSWCC: DLSW Lions play United Mustangs at 930am at PKVR Reservoir
