Babar's 100 slays PACC attack in Premier League Opener


In the season opener for the Premier League, Diasqua Little Sai Wan Prism defeated Pakistan Association with nine wickets to spare.

Prism's new captain Ehsan Khan lost his first Toss as captain and Pakistan Association decided to bat first. The weather was clear and the wicket looked good to put on a good total.

Niaz Ali opened the bowling and immediately took two wicket to put PACC under pressure at 16/2. Following which the DLSW Spinners took over and never let any PACC Batsman settle in. PACC were limited by Nadeem Ahmed (2/10) and Mudassar Hussain (3/11), while Niaz Ali (3/30) also contributed to the manageable target.

PACC was all out with 120 runs, led by Balal Muhammad (31) and Ahsan Abbasi Ali (26).

Sai Wan vs Pakistan Association matches are often low scoring high intense matches, this time was no such case, Babar Hayat walked in in the 4th over after Hiren Patel was run out with the score on 13. Babar led DLSW’s response was led by and scored exactly 100 runs off 48 balls. It only Babar and DLSW only 15 and a half overs to take the opening victory of the season. Amandeep Singh gave good support to Babar with 17 runs.
