Shanzeen Shahzad, Captain of Diasqua Little Sai Wan’s Wasps team was name HKCA Female Cricketer of the Year at the HKCA Annual Awards Dinner. She also won the Women’s League Best Batter and Best Bowler Trophies. Shanzeen scored an incredible 211 in a Women League game and 114 in a Twenty20 game for a total of 591 runs for the Wasps in the season. DLSW Wasps won the Toss at PKVR Reservoir and decided to Bat against new comers USRC, and they did not make another wrong move the entire match. The openers Shanzeen and Manpreet helped themselves to score off the newcomers’ bowling and batted through the 20 overs without losing a wicket.
